HOSPICE GETS A FACELIFT

It's been all change at the Shakespeare Hospice, with builders moving in to renovate Life Well, our palliative day care centre. It is being redesigned to give more flexibility and privacy, better access to our gardens and a dedicated space for reflection and religious services. This has been made possible through a grant under the Department of Health’s “Dignity in Care” programme, and will help us to continue providing the best care possible for the changing needs of our patients and their families.

All Hospice services will continue whilst the building work takes place, with Life Well moving into the back of the building. As you can see from the photos below, the Life Well staff are settling into their new surroundings and the building is progressing smoothly.
