Day Hospice Bereavement Support

The Day Hospice team at The Shakespeare Hospice offers supportive and emotional care to those facing or coping with a loss.

For some having someone to talk to outside the family can be very helpful and we offer this in a sensitive, unbiased and open environment. An individual approach to a supportive care plan is agreed.

Mondays at the Day Hospice are devoted to carers, bereaved carers and family members. Support is offered in both group and individual sessions, and a number of therapies are available.

A coffee morning is held at the Hospice on Fridays, run by bereaved carers and volunteers.

Bereavement Support is also available through our Family Support Service, with sessions offered by trained Bereavement Workers.

For more information on our services please contact the Hospice on 01789 266852.
