TRUSTS
Donations from trusts are crucial in allowing the Shakespeare Hospice to continue and expand our work helping people with life-limiting illnesses in South Warwickshire. Last year we received donations from trusts totalling more than £200,000, both from trusts that have supported us since the early days and those starting a new funding relationship with the Hospice. The Hospice has also received over £30,000 so far from a variety of local and national trusts for Life Well Link, our new information and support centre.
We would like to thank all of the trusts which have given to the Shakespeare Hospice in the last year. These include:
- The Town Trust of Stratford upon Avon, £65,000 towards our Hospice at Home service.
- The Garfield Weston Foundation, to help employ a Hospice chaplain.
- The Steel Charitable Trust, enabling us to offer transport for hospital appointments.
- The Youell Foundation, for the Hospice's palliative care services
Trust representatives are always welcome to visit the Hospice and see the difference that their grant could make. To arrange a visit or to discuss funding opportunities, please contact Claire or David on 01789 416950.
