We are very grateful for everyone who has made the past few years a great success and helped us to increase the support and care we are able to provide for the seriously ill in our local community. We want to build on this further in 2011 with many exciting and challenging events for you to take part in, news of which is on our Forthcoming Events page. We want to make this our best fundraising year yet and to help us reach this target we are encouraging our supporters to hold their own events however big or small.

If you would like to hold an event for the hospice we’d love to hear from you. You can contact the fundraising team on 01789 266852 for a Fundraising Pack. The pack is full of ideas to get you started from art exhibitions to zany clothes days! There are hints and tips on how to organize a successful and fun event as well as advice on advertising and money management. Once you’ve registered your fundraising event with us we’ll add it to our Forthcoming Events page; a great place to look for inspiration!

We are also looking to recruit more fundraising volunteers as well as starting supporters groups in Henley-in-Arden and Alcester. If you would like more information about any of these please contact Linda Bister on 01789 266852 or email lbister@theshakespearehospice.org.uk.
