Hospice Reception

Hospice Receptionists provide a welcoming face to patients, carers and visitors to the Hospice. This role also includes answering the phone, booking in visitors and selling cards and gifts.

Reception Administrators carry out general administrative duties for the Hospice and staff and work alongside the Receptionist, supporting at busy times.

Volunteers should have a calm, organised and confident persona with an excellent telephone manner and computer skills.

Family Support

Our Family Support Services include Children and Family Support Service, Bereavement Support, Counselling, Chaplaincy and Social Work Service.

For the families we support, we can offer volunteers to stay at home with a patient while the carer attends the Hospice or other appointments.
