A carer is someone who provides unpaid care by looking after an ill, frail or disabled family member, friend or partner.

This section provides information for anyone who is caring for somebody either in their own home or somewhere else. It includes a list of useful organisations both locally and nationally which will be able to help you get the help and support you need as a carer, for example, advice on any financial help you may be entitled to, advice on getting a break  from caring, going to work and so on.
