Light Up A Life

Christmas is a time for celebrating and joining with friends and family to enjoy the spirit of togetherness. However, Christmas can also be a time for reflection and contemplation when many people are thinking of loved ones no longer here.

To celebrate the memories of your loved ones this Christmas you can sponsor a tree light and make a dedication in our Books of Remembrance. Your donation will go towards our care of the seriously ill in our community. You can also support the Hospice in memory of your loved on by wearing a Light up a Life pin badge – available from the Hospice and our shops.

The lights will be switched on during a brief service in The Great Gardens of New Place in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon on Sunday 4th December, and will remain lit throughout the Christmas season until Twelfth night on 5th January 2011.  All those who have made a dedication are warmly invited to this ceremony and to join us afterwards in the Town Hall for mulled wine and mince pies.
The Books or Remembrance and Celebration will be available to view in the Town Hall straight after the service, and then at the Hospice until twelfth night.
