The Shakespeare Hospice has just received notification of a grant of £65,000 from the Town Trust. The grant was made towards the costs of our Hospice at Home service, and we are very grateful for the continuing support of the Town Trust. Last year Hospice at Home received 103 new referrals and made 1735 visits, an increase of 5% on the year before. The service provides specialist nursing care to patients who wish to die in their own homes, and support for their families.
