NEW INFORMATION AND SUPPORT DROP-IN CENTRE
March sees the opening of an exciting new initiative developed by The Shakespeare Hospice. Life Well Link is an information and support centre based in Stratford on Avon town centre for any adult affected by any type of life-limiting illness. It is open to everyone, not just those who have been diagnosed with an illness but also their carers, family, friends and employers. Visitors to the centre will find a relaxed and calm atmosphere where they can discuss their worries and anxieties with experienced staff. If its information and practical advice that is needed, then our staff will help visitors to access this through good quality websites, health databases, leaflets and booklets. They will also be able to access and signpost visitors to other organisations that specialise in specific illnesses. There is no need to book an appointment, and the centre is conveniently situated for people to pop in from the town centre.
The Link is completely free of charge, and open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. It is based in the Stratford Healthcare Building on Arden Street, on the first floor above the coffee shop. If you would like more details call Alison or Janis on 01789 416959.
