Retail
The Shakespeare Hospice has five shops, three of which are general retail and these are situated in Alcester, Henley-in-Arden and Stratford-upon-Avon. We have a book shop in Rother Street, Stratford-upon-Avon and a recycling shop based at the Warwickshire County Council Recycling Centre at Burton Farm on the outskirts of Stratford on the A46.
The retail shops stock a wide range of men's and ladies' clothing, accessories, shoes, bric-a-brac and much more. The diversity of donations we receive never ceases to amaze us. If you are looking for something special, let us know and we will endeavour to contact you should we receive something suitable. Donations are always welcome and if you are a UK tax payer, sign up to Gift Aid and we can claim an extra 28% on all items sold.
THE STRATFORD-UPON-AVON SHOP is situated in Greenhill Street, and is open 9.30 to 4.30 Monday to Saturday. Suzanne Nockalls is our shop manager. We are very lucky with all the generous donations our Stratford shop receives and will be happy to help find what you are looking for as we're not always able to display all of our goods.
There are 14 volunteers at present and of course new volunteers would always be welcome. If you feel you have some time to spare and could give a few hours please contact the Shop Manager Tel. No 01789 299258.

BURTON FARM This is a very unconventional Charity Shop. It is situated at the Warwickshire County Council Recycling Centre based at Burton Farm just off the A46 near Stratford upon Avon. We sell re-salable items brought to the shop which helps to reduce landfill. We are unable to accept large and bulky items and unfortunately from time to time have to refuse certain donations due to lack of space and waste removal costs to the Hospice. We greatly appreciate all your support.
This popular shop is our most successful and in the seven years it has been open has raised over £1,000,000 for the Hospice. This is the shop where you can get practically anything from an egg cup to a three piece suite. You can buy electrical equipment, bicycles which have been refurbished by a scheme run by local prisons, and even compost for your garden.
It is open 9.00am to 3.30pm Oct to end March and 9.00am to 4.30 April to end September, every day of the week. Volunteers would always be welcome at this site as it is extremely busy, so if you fancy a few hours a week in the fresh air you would be more than welcome.
