How to access our care

We support over 1,000 adults and young people from South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds who access one or more of our specialised services; Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, counselling for pre and post bereavement support for families, young people and children, Transitional Care for 16–24 year-olds, support for young carers, and with spiritual, emotional, and complementary therapies.

Our services are free of charge to all patients, based on clinical needs.

The Shakespeare Hospice welcomes referrals from both Healthcare Professionals and directly from patients, their carers or family members, provided consent is given.

Our services are available to anybody registered with a GP in South Warwickshire or the North Cotswolds.

Our clinical team care for approximately 75% of patients with a cancer diagnosis, other patients have other complex conditions such as chronic heart or lung disease, or neurological conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease (MND), MND prevalence in our region is also higher than the national average.

The Shakespeare Hospice is your local hospice; your support will make sure that we are here for you or your loved ones should you ever need us.

Family Support

Our Family Support Services include Children and Family Support Service, Bereavement Support, Counselling, Chaplaincy and Social Work Service.
