We are looking for an experienced and responsible part-time Assistant Manager for our Greenhill Street shop. You will work alongside the Shop Manager and provide support and stable leadership to our staff and volunteer team. Your job will be important in ensuring the shop achieves sales targets by delivering high standards of customer service, fantastic visual merchandising, and the smooth running of day-to-day activities.
Our ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience with a sharp business mindset and be willing to be an active and leading presence on the shop floor. You should also be skilled at organizing, prioritising tasks and solving problems. You will know what it’s like to work in a busy shop or stockroom environment and demonstrate excellent Health & Safety practices.
You will need good interpersonal and staff management skills which will be important to motivate and drive your shop team as you act as a liaison between retail staff, volunteers and customers. Supporting in training, recruitment and project management will also be a key to success.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK.
