The Shakespeare Hospice, based in Stratford upon Avon, offers a diverse range of services across South Warwickshire and surrounding areas. Patients and their families/carers can access one or moer specialised services: day hospice, hospice at home, adult and children's counselling for pre and post bereavement, transitional care for terminally ill 16-24 year olds, and spritual, emotional and complementary therapies. We pride our offer as one that is all inclusive and embraces not only the patient but their complete support system, family and loved ones.
The Hospice has six charity shops and an active online presence selling a variety of new and donated quality goods. Profits raised from our shops play a vital role in our income generation activities, helping us to generate the £2 million per year it costs to deliver our services.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our retail shops team to support with shop management cover and relief support. As Retail Relief Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operations of shops and projects you are covering and will work cooperatively with Shop Managers and the Retail Operations Manager to ensure the overall objectives of the retail shops are met.
You will assist the retail team to maximise income for the Hospice. Focusing on sales, merchandising, stock rotation and excellent customer service, you will be part of a cohesive team to promote the work of The Shakespeare Hospice within the local community. This is an occasional (Bank) role and duties are to cover the shop manager in their absence.
