Children & Young People Counsellors

Counselling volunteers are required to support the Family Support Practitioner in providing counselling sessions to children and young people and their families.

Volunteers will support clients both in the Hospice and in clients’ homes.

Counsellors should be fully qualified. Volunteers will be offered an in-depth induction training course, regular supervision and support, and ongoing team activities.

For more information please email Carole Lomas, Volunteer Services Manager, on clomas@theshakespearehospice.org.uk.
