Poppy's Story

On 21st April 2025, I sadly lost my wonderful Nan, Carol, to cancer.

She had been fighting this horrible disease since the Summer of 2024 and was so strong the whole way through. My Nan was and always will be my absolute world. She was the most caring, loving and selfless woman you could meet, always putting everyone else first, even when she was fighting her battle. I love you forever and always, Nan.

My Nan was a huge supporter of my tattoos, letting me do her first tattoo when I started tattooing back in 2017, to having almost a whole sleeve. She believed in me, letting me practice different techniques on her and tattooing things I wanted to try out just so I could get more practice. She always loved to show them off on holiday, promoting me all over the world!

The Shakespeare Hospice supported both my Nan and my Grandad all the way until the end, making her as comfortable as she could be. They did such an incredible job, and I know how much my Nan and Grandad are grateful for them, which is why I am raising money for this amazing charity. My husband, Max, and I are taking on the Shakespeare Half Marathon in 2026, following on from my Tattoo conventions, which raised a brilliant £536. It's the least we can do to say thank you for the support we received.
