Do something TREE-mendous this Christmas!

Treecycle is a quick and easy way to recycle your Christmas tree in a sustainable way whilst helping to fund vital care for local people facing a life-limiting illness.

It’s as easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Book your Christmas tree collection today and make your donation to The Shakespeare Hospice (minimum £15)
  2. Leave your tree in a specified place ready for collection on the 10th or 11th January 2026
  3. Our volunteers will collect and recycle your tree responsibly

    You will be helping local people this Christmas

    Book today and with your donation, The Shakespeare Hospice can provide vital care and support to local people with a life-limiting illness this festive season.

    £12 could help pay for a memory-making activity for a child or young person grieving the loss of a loved one

    £31 could help our nurses travel around the community for a day to care for patients at home

    £43 could pay for a patient to spend time at our Day Hospice, taking part in activities, receiving care and meeting other people

    Important information

    The Christmas tree recycling scheme is delivered by a third party supporter, AR Lewis Tree Care in lieu of donations to The Shakespeare Hospice. The information you provide when you register will be used for the purpose of processing your donation and collecting your Christmas tree/s from the address provided. Your address will be shared with AR Lewis Tree Care in order for them to collect your tree/s. No other personal information will be shared. 

    Please remember to remove any lights and decorations and take your tree out of the pot or stand. We cannot remove or recycle these. 

    Your tree must be left in a clear and visible location at the front of your property, and be easily accessible without obstructing the pavement or road. Trees cannot be collected from inside your property. Your tree must be ready to collect by 6pm on Friday 9th January 2026. Please note we cannot guarantee what day or time your tree will be collected.

    Please note in the event of adverse weather conditions the dates of collection could be changed, we will advise our supporters accordingly.
