£31 could help our nurses travel around the community for a day to care for patients at home
£43 could pay for a patient to spend time at our Day Hospice, taking part in activities, receiving care and meeting other people
Important information
The Christmas tree recycling scheme is delivered on behalf of The Shakespeare Hospice by third party supporters. This year AR Lewis tree surgery and fencing, J&H Maintenance and Tree Surgery and Med-equip will volunteer their time and expertise to collect and recycle your Christmas tree in exchange for a donation to support the work of The Shakespeare Hospice. The information you provide when you register will be used for the purpose of processing your donation. We will only share your address with our third-party supporters for the purpose of collecting your Christmas tree. No other personal information will be shared.
Please remember to remove all lights and decorations and take your tree out of the pot or stand. We cannot remove or recycle these.
Your tree must be left in a clear and visible location at the front of your property and be easily accessible without obstructing the pavement or road. Trees cannot be collected from inside your property. Your tree must be ready to collect by 8am on Thursday 8th January 2026. Please note we cannot guarantee what time or day your tree will be collected.
Please note in the event of adverse weather conditions the dates of collection could be changed, we will advise our supporters accordingly.
If you have any queries please contact the Fundraising Team on fundraising@theshakespearehospice.org.uk. Please note due to the bank holidays and Christmas break there will be a limited number of staff working between 24th December and 1st January. All enquiries will be responded to on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
