The Shakespeare Hospice - Corporate Partnerships

Why partner with us?

A charity partnership with The Shakespeare Hospice can bring great benefits to companies and make a big difference to patients and loved ones affected by a life-limiting condition.

As well as supporting the Hospice, corporate partnerships can also help companies increase customer loyalty and brand awareness, generate positive PR and social media coverage and help them fulfil their corporate social responsibilities.

There are plenty of ways in which your company can get involved with The Shakespeare Hospice. Our fundraising team are here to help you discuss partnership opportunities and the impact of working together with us.

Ways to support us

There are many ways that your business can partner with us.

Fundraising

Corporate and employee fundraising helps us to deliver expert care and emotional support to families in need.

Sponsorship

We run a wide-range of events throughout the year and have sponsorship opportunities to suit all businesses.

Volunteering

Corporate volunteering provides your teams with the opportunity to connect with us, whether it be in our shops, at our events or in our Hospice.

Charity of the Year

Nominating us as your Charity of the Year can have real benefits for your team, as well as demonstrating your commitment to your local community.

Payroll giving

Donate to charity directly from your salary. The donation is taken before tax meaning that in addition to giving to us, you pay less in tax each month.

Team challenges

Take part in some of our exciting teambuilding challenges, such as our annual Dragon Boat Race and Retail Rivals.

Donate items

Offices often have items that are surplus to requirements, that can be donated to us. This might include computing equipment or office furniture.

Pro bono work

Offer up your time and expertise by providing professional support and advice to the Hospice.

Gifts in kind

Donating goods or services can be a fantastic way to support the Hospice. You can donate raffle prizes or provide a service, venue or product for free.

Business Support Group

At The Shakespeare Hospice, we are big on teamwork and collaboration. We know that working alone cannot always achieve the greatest impact and outcomes.

In reviewing how we best wanted to engage with local businesses across South Warwickshire we identified that we needed help and support from that very community:

  • to spread the word about the Hospice’s work
  • to help us explain the holistic approach taken by the charity in support of the whole community
  • to connect our small partnerships team with businesses who will want the opportunity to contribute to the Hospice’s mission

And so we created the Business Support Group – a small number of kind people giving their time freely to The Shakespeare Hospice to help us in developing and delivering our plans related to Corporate Partnerships.

We are extremely grateful for their support, expertise and inputs in the Story Box project and on other aspects of the Hospice’s work. They epitomise the notion of “Business For Good”.
