Volunteer for us

We depend on volunteers in almost all of our work to fulfil our goal of providing free care to patients and their loved ones.

The Shakespeare Hospice - Volunteer for us

Volunteering with us

Our volunteers are the backbone of our Hospice. They enable us to deliver the highest quality of care and support to our patients and their families. Approximately 150 volunteers help with the running of the Hospice, bringing with them a wonderful diversity of skills.

As a volunteer, you can help out as much or as little as you like and there are many different volunteering roles available, reflecting the skills, interest and availability of anyone wishing to support the Hospice in this way. Not only will you be supporting those in your community who need it most, but you will meet new people, and make new friends - and we guarantee you will have fun!

You may even learn some new skills - ideal for those looking at future employment or a career change!
