After nearly two months of extensive refurbishment, the doors of the Bookshop will once again open to the public on February 17th at 9:30am.
The Bookshop, a cherished fixture in the community, has undergone significant renovations to enhance the shopping experience for customers while maintaining its unique charm. The refurbishment project aimed to create a welcoming space where book lovers can browse through a diverse selection of literary treasures while supporting a worthy cause.
The Bookshop serves as a vital source of funding for The Shakespeare Hospice. Every purchase made at the bookshop directly contributes to the Hospice's mission of enhancing the quality of life for those affected by life-limiting conditions.
Michael Ewins, the Manager of the Bookshop, said: "We are thrilled to welcome back our loyal customers and introduce them to our refreshed bookshop. The refurbishment has allowed us to create a more inviting environment where visitors can discover hidden literary gems while supporting the vital work of The Shakespeare Hospice.
“We are immensely grateful for the ongoing support and patience of our customers and donors, while this work has been carried out. By shopping at our bookshop, customers not only find great reads but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community."
The Shakespeare Hospice Bookshop is located at 45a Rother Street in Stratford-upon-Avon and will be open from 9:30am-4:30pm Monday-Saturday.
